Earthbound Trading

If you have never made your way into an Earthbound Trading store I suggest you go asap.  If you are in search of multicultural wares, this is the place to be. Seeing that I have lived out of the country and have been a military spouse and who still resides in a multicultural neighborhood, I have a deep appreciation for items made all over the world. I'm really loving their décor pieces at the moment, since my home is having a more global look these days but still maintaining a traditional spin. Also, if I went there more than once a month, I would have to get a job there because I would buy all there jewelry pieces. Anyways, I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite finds and I will post some of my favorites at home on IG.

This big beautiful tapestry can be used as a tablecloth or wall hanging and its only $20

This jewelry box is like a piece of art, I would put it on my coffee table.

I have found no other place in my area with a better selection of boho jewelry than here.

They are ready for Fall season with a great variety of scarves.

If you need some gem stones to clear or center your Chakra's this is the place to find them.

I wish I had a place for this modified peacock chair.

All these multicultural figurines fit in perfectly with my décor at home.

Brass is called the Poor Man's gold and I love the warm patina the jewelry gets after continuous wear.

Another richly textured tapestry to go in the home.  I need a place for this rug to go.

This incense is so intense an fragrant its perfect for cleansing your home and spirit.

You could say this is a good barware item a bottle opener does give you a hand.  Wonk Wonk!

Now this is what I'm talking about, I love handcrafted ethnic jewelry.  These pieces are more beautiful in person. I'm adding these to my Christmas list.

With this open floor plan home, I'm finding I need more wall space for prints such as this one.

Can you imagine placing a succulent in these hanging pendants?

The third eye reminds you to maintain your calmness and vibrate higher then any negativity that may come your way.

Here's a close up of the lovely jewelry pieces inside the store.

Thank goodness they are getting some larger clothing sizes in the store.  For a minute everything was 4-8! Uggh!

These antlers will hold quite a few rings.

These Day of the Dead canvases would be the icing on the cake for a Halloween party.

Moroccan shelves in a bathroom would be divine.

If you are new to essential oils try getting some scents to effect your mood and then move on to using them for medicinal purposes after doing some research. Essential oils readily available at an affordable price. You can even make your own signature scents to use throughout your day.

You can find beaded bracelets in every color and they are delicate and affordable enough to fill up your wrist without lightening your wallet.

Some of these shades are low as $2.  They are trendy but don't keep the sun's rays out.

And last but not least this verbena & eucalyptus room spray is good but a bit overpriced. But then again I have been making my own scents so I can cut some cost.  If you don't have time for all that this spray is a good alternative especially when you don't like those heavy floral scents.

I hope you go check them out for yourself and if you do purchase something let me know.  I may have a missed something.

Until next time Love Bugs!

Mmm...Mmm...Monday!

PeaceImages Jewelry

Enjoy these cultural pieces of jewelry by PeaceImages.  They use brass in their pieces, brass is a favorite metal of mine for jewelry.  The tarnish appearance that brass takes on after constant wear aid in its vintage appeal.  I noticed they have added some newer pieces since the last time I visited the site.  I'm going to try and to get my favorites ordered before the holidays.  Like what you see?  Find more here: peaceimages.bigcartel.com

The African choker is my hands down favorite but I will take them all!  Stay tuned to see what make its way to my jewelry box.  Until next time Loves!

Pamela Love Jewelry

If you like jewelry in any shape or form, let me see your hands!  If you are looking for ordinary and/ or unassuming looks you need to go somewhere else, because the big bang designs of Pamela Love is here to stay!  This relatively new line of jewelry by Brooklyn designer Pamela Love started in 2006.  This jewelry is absolutely breath taking!  Who can believe these stunning pieces are made from mostly recycled metals? The semi precious stones are said to be ethically sourced and remind me of the bohemian vibe of pieces my aunt Joan rocked in the 70's.  This jewelry is not for wall flowers, it's for people who want to be seen!  Like these looks?  Cop them here:  www.pamelalovenyc.com

My all time favorite is this grey diamond solitaire, what a wonderful alternative to the traditional wedding ring bauble!

I hoped you loved these looks as much as I did, until next time Loves!

Ear Cuffs

They say everything old is new again and that can be definitely said for ear cuffs.   I like to see when hot trends make there way back in style.  Ear Cuffs were and still are a great jewelry alternative to getting multiple piercings or for those who have no holes in their ears.  Cuffs are now designed to dress up or down depending on your outfit.  The price range is huge like $5.00 from Forever 21 to $20,000 from Moda Operandi, making this a style everybody can afford.   Even though I am a mature woman(did I say that?), I still like to bring the funk into my look and these cuffs do just that and more!   I love when I rock a piece and my kids look at me and say "look at Mama she trying to be young".   Then I reply "no baby you trying to be hip, Mama was rocking these long before you were born!" Wonk!

Until next time!

Betsey Johnson

As I was perusing my regular shopping sites this morning, I almost let a big sale from one of my favorite designer's slip past me.  Betsey Johnson is having a huge clearance sale on her site.  You can find a wide array of items to choose from and I just had to post some of the items that caught my eye.

I'm not sure how long the sale will last so shop fast!  You all know there are no returns on sales items so shop smart!

Until next time!

Mmm...Mmm...Monday!

My Fulani earrings are so freaking hot!  When I ordered these I mistakenly thought they would be heavy like the door knockers I rocked back in the day, silly me these are as light as a feather.  These earrings are worn and made by the west African Fulani tribe.  The size of earrings the women wear symbolize their wealth and status, so the bigger the better!   The earrings I purchased from Muso Masiri's etsy shop are beautiful and light.  They can be worn with a variety of outfits, if you are loving these go grab you a pair here:   www.etsy.com.

Until next time!
